If the crash happens during gameplay, your settings might be pushing the emulator too hard. Try these adjustments in Right Click Game > Manage Game Configuration . OpenGL is less stable and much slower. Graphics Device: Try again later
Before updating, navigate to your RPCS3 installation folder and delete the entire cache directory. Also clear the Shader Cache from the emulator's GPU tab. This forces the emulator to rebuild fresh shaders and PPU/SPU modules, which often fixes crashes immediately.
